Student Newspaper

The Forum

The Forum is a newspaper for all UW-Marathon County students, who are solely responsible for its editorial policy and content. It is a medium of open discussion with the purpose of informing, educating and possibly persuading.

Now 52 years old, The Forum has a long history and strong traditions. The most important of these traditions is our commitment to a free press and disdain for censorship, although an advisory board regularly provides constructive feedback and editorial direction.

We welcome contributions from students, faculty and community members. Write a news article. Share your opinion. Take a picture. Pitch a story idea. There are numerous ways to become involved in this worthwhile student-led, campus-wide communications tool.

Making a contribution to The Forum, however small or large, is an act of goodwill toward the UWMC community. Please contact our staff to learn how you can become part of The Forum’s history and traditions.
