UWMC women’s volleyball team to host “Volley for the Cure”

The women’s volleyball team at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County will host two “Volley for the Cure” matches on Wednesday, October 7 in the UWMC fieldhouse.

At 4:30 p.m. UWMC will play the University of Wisconsin-Richland and at 5:30 p.m. they’ll play Western Technical College. For these matches the UWMC team will wear pink t-shirts and encourage fans to wear pink to call attention to the ongoing battle against breast cancer.

In addition, all ticket proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research. Information on breast cancer awareness will be available at the game. The public is invited to attend the games to support both the local team and the cause.

UWMC is located at 518 South 7th Avenue in Wausau.
