Are you interested in home brewing but don’t quite know how to get started? This 5-hour workshop will introduce the art, science, and FUN of home brewing to a group of up to 12 people. This casual but informative class is designed for the uninitiated novice, or the beginning brewer who wants to become more proficient. Participants should come away with a deeper understanding of beer, its ingredients, and the home brewing process. Includes personalized tour and beer flight tasting at Bull Falls Brewery. Must be 21 years of age to attend.
Terese Barta has a Ph.D. from UW-Madison, and has been teaching microbiology in the UW System for almost 24 years. She is currently an associate professor in the biology department at UW-Stevens Point. Since 2012, she has been teaching a professional development course for craft brewer.
