100 Extraordinary Women Campaign!
We raised $125,000 in pledges and dollars in Spring 2017 for our new 100 Extraordinary Women campaign, which will allow us to provide special scholarships to outstanding female students over the next five years. Thanks to all of our wonderful donors who helped to make this happen! Learn more about the UWMC Extraordinary Women Campaign.
Spirit of Excellence Event!
The 10th annual Spirit of Excellence luncheon was held Friday, May 12, 2017 in the East Gate Building in Marathon Park (near the UWMC Fieldhouse). This event included a special observance of the 50th anniversary of a speech given in the same building by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on May 12, 1967. The recipient of the 10th Spirit of Excellence Award was Craig Reineking, past president of the Foundation, who led the foundation for three years. The next Spirit of Excellence event will be held in May 2018 at a date to be determined.
