We are the UW in your Community
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau serves as a cultural and meeting center for the Wausau region, offering art exhibits, lectures, musical and theatrical performances, community non-credit courses and facility rental. Community members are also invited to participate in many of our performing arts ensembles.
UW Center for Civic Engagement
The UW Center for Civic Engagement building on the UW-Marathon County campus houses programs intended to serve not only local communities but the region and state as well. It's home to The Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service and Wisconsin Public Radio.
We also value connections with our alumni and supporters and offer many ways to stay in touch, get involved and keep informed, including the opportunity to volunteer for and attend the UWMC County Foundation's Educational Assistance Through Scholarships (EATS) fundraiser held annually in the fall. Visit the EATS website.
