Why did you choose UW-Marathon County? I chose UW-Marathon County because my sister attended here before me, and she loved the classes. The tuition is also affordable, which is a major plus.

What surprised you the most about UW-Marathon County when you arrived on campus? The school felt much larger on the inside than what it seems on the outside.

Why did you choose your program/major? I have always wanted to go into a career in the medical field. I am a very caring person, and I love to help others so I decided that nursing was a great fit for me.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding? I look forward to being able to help people once I begin my nursing education.

In addition to being a college student, what takes up your free time? I enjoy dancing, reading, and spending time with my cat.

Who has been your favorite professor or staff member? My favorite professor is Darla Zastrow from my Biology 101 course.

What do you plan to do after UW-Marathon County? After UW-Marathon County, my plan is to attend UW-Eau Claire and pursue a nursing degree.

What is one piece of advice you have for incoming UW-Marathon County students? Join clubs or find an on-campus job. It is a great way to meet new people.
