Diana Budde holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Ball State University Honors College and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning College of the University of Cincinnati. She taught at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and worked for Power Architects during design of the Cincinnati Duke Energy Children’s Museum.  As a City of Cincinnati grant recipient she worked with inner city youth on community building projects and has continued to lead many community art projects as an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County with renowned artists such as Harrell Fletcher and Patricia Johanson. Her painting has been recognized in national juried shows including those at the Women Made Gallery in Chicago, the Hera Gallery in Rhode Island, and the Galeria Tonantzin in San Juan Bautista.  Her work is a hybrid between printmaking and painting and investigates the relationship between the organic and the technological.
