Personal Visits

Throughout the summer, tours of UW-Marathon County are offered weekly on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm.

A UWMC student will take you on a walking tour of our beautiful campus. You will see our main academic building, art studios, the fieldhouse, residence hall, and the UW Center for Civic Engagement. Tours begin in the Office of Student Affairs (Room 150) and typically last 90 minutes.

Financial aid and academic advisors will be available on a walk-in basis after your tour.

Parents Nights

Parents of high school juniors and seniors can get answers to their questions about sending their students to college at these information sessions.

UWMC’s Assistant Campus Dean for Student Affairs, faculty and staff members, and current students will share information and experiences about student life, the cost of college and financial aid, credit transfer, academics, support services, housing and food service, why a campus visit is important, and research on attending two-year versus four-year universities. Parents will also have the opportunity to tour UWMC. The sessions are free, but advance registration is requested.
