What is my placement result?
Your placement result is your percentage mastery on the best ALEKS Placement assessment. (Note that this is not the percentage mastery on the Prep Module.)
If a student places more than one level up from his/her initial placement by doing ALEKS work, he/she will be required to take a proctored on-campus ALEKS assessment to determine the final Math placement. You are allowed a total of 5 placements and so moving up two levels means you need to reserve your last placement for the proctored assessment on campus.
Course placement is determined as follows:
|Cut Score (%)||Range||Course Placement|
|≥ 30%||30-45||Mat 105 (Introduction to College Algebra)|
|≥ 76%||76-100||Mat 221 (Calculus I)
